Toasts with caramelized pear and feta cheese paste

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. And a tasty breakfast guarantees a wonderful start of our day. Toasts with feta cheese paste and caramelized pear made on AMT frying pan with non-stick LOTAN® coating is a perfect idea for delicious breakfast. You can prepare it as a light snack during the day as well. Your choice. We are certain you will not be able to resist them.

Ingredients for 4-6 toasts:

  • 4-6 baguette or bread pieces
  • 3 pitted pears
  • 1 spoon of honey
  • Half a glass of water
  • 1 spoon of butter
  • quarter of lemon
  • 1 pomegranate 
  • handful of roasted walnuts

Feta cheese paste:

  • 200g of feta cheese (if feta is not among your favorite cheeses, you can replace it with “Philadelphia” cheese)
  • 150g natural yogurt
  • Pepper for additional taste


Cut the baguette or bread and brown it on both sides on the AMT frying pan.

Next, put the pitted and quartered pears on the heated up pan. Water the fruit and cook them until they soften a bit and the water evaporates completely. Add honey and a moment later squeeze the lemon in. Stir until they begin to softly caramelize. Add butter and stir delicately. Take the pan off of the hob and set down to cool.

Mash the feta cheese with a fork in a bowl. Add yogurt, season with pepper and stir.

Spread the feta cheese pasta on the toasts and put caramelized pears on them. You can sprinkle them with pomegranate seeds, roasted walnuts and sugar pea sprouts.
